Make your nursery room feel more cozy and magical, with a little help from this adorable diy cloud-shaped pillow. Handmade from silk fabric, comes filled with a comfy cushioning to make it very cuddable! This pillow looks fantastic in a nursery or kid’s room decoration, or on its own.

so lets start to make this simple diy sewing project for kids

what you need

  1. fabrics of your choice
  2. fiber fillings
  3. a small piece of schiffon fabric and tulle( use anything that you have does't have to be same fabrics)

what you do

  1. Start by drawing a simple cloud shape about a measurement of h30cm and 44cm lenght, then trace on your fabric
  2. draw also the legs 5cm wide 30cm lenght, cut then stitch flip and put the fiber fillings inside
  3. assemble the cloud fabric facing each the right way then insert the legs, leave 2.5cm space in betwen legs, pin all then stitch.
  4. after stitching flip it out, give a quick ironing, then put the fiber fillings, handstitch to close the hole.
  5. using a black embroidery yarn lets, stitch the sleepy eyes with lashes
  6. add small circle using felt as the mouth, I just glue it. and aslo a bow
  7. lastly a a small piece of fabric here I use sciffon we do the skirt, then another small piece of tulle fabric to tie as a bow in the feet. done..
