Welcome to my blog post. Another DIY sewing ideas for mommies. This unique baby bibs is not easy to find in store unless you shop online. Try do it yourself handmade. It's not only fashionable but also super absorbant bibs, and as it is also reversible bibs you can always use the back part as well when the side gets dirty, Isn't that cool? absolutely two way baby bibs in one.

A reversible baby bibs handmade, two way use using unique prints you can make this diy sewing project amazing. Make it for your babies, grandchildren or just an absolute luxury baby gift for a friend. It's truly an appreciatable handmade gift for babies and toddlers, made with love and care!!

Note that this bibs are not for everyday use, It is more to use on occasion

What you need

1. Two different fabric preferebly cotton one plain and printed or pattred fabric (in this project I use the blue linen plain front fabric and organic cotton printed fabric as back.
  1. vintage lace trim or what you have available
  2. a larger lace to use as front detail
  3. cotton cord
  4. terry cloth use as inner fabric for absorbant (doesn't necessary if you haven't just put any absorbant fabric like flannel

Instructions
  1. Download PDF pattern here above, print in A4 do not change the size, print 2 pieces of this pattern
  2. Cut out pattern then with the help of scotch tape join them together in the middle, so there you have your bib pattern.
  3. First thing to sew, is the larger lace on the middle front of a plain fabric.( please watch video for more accurate instruction)
  4. Second to sew is the other detail which is the trim lace just the edge of sides of the bibs, (this is important make sure to sew the trim lace properly on all sides of the bibs
  5. After sewing the details, then arrange the cotton cord
  6. Arrange other back fabric facing to the front of the first fabric and lastly the terry cloth (please watch video for more accurate instruction)
  7. Pin all the layers then sew leaving a small hole to use flip later the bib
  8. Now after sewing flip the bibs and give it a quick ironing this helps to the shape
  9. Then last thing to do sew again all the sides of the vintage bibs, this gives more secure and durable baby/toddler handmade bibs. (please watch video for more accurate instruction)
